Terms of Use

These terms cover Velvet Alarm for iPhone and Apple Watch (shown as Wristwake until the update that renames it). You get the app from the App Store, so Apple’s standard licence applies to it, as to every App Store app. This page sums up what that means for your purchases, plus a few words of our own.

Effective date: 4 November 2026

1. What the app does

Velvet Alarm is an alarm clock. Your iPhone alarm rings at the time you set. With an Apple Watch worn to sleep, the Watch may tap your wrist earlier, up to 15 or 30 minutes before that time, if you start to stir. It can only wake you earlier, never later.

2. Subscriptions and payment

Monthly and Yearly start with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. After the trial they renew every month or every year at the price shown before you confirm, until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in Settings › your name › Subscriptions; the subscription then ends at the close of the period already paid for. “Unlock forever” is paid once and does not renew. Buying it does not cancel a running subscription, so cancel that yourself. Apple charges your Apple Account and handles every payment.

3. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If the law of your country gives you a right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content, or a longer warranty, these terms do not limit it.

4. Not a medical device

Velvet Alarm does not diagnose, treat or monitor any medical condition. Use it like any alarm clock: keep your iPhone charged, with alarms and notifications allowed for the app, and check that your alarm is set.

5. Your data

The app collects nothing. Our Privacy Policy says the rest.

6. Changes to the app

We may add, change or remove features. Unlock forever covers the app as it exists in the version you can install; it is not a promise of future features.

7. No warranty beyond the law

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Slovenia. If you are a consumer in the EU, the mandatory consumer protection of your own country still applies.
